Kit + Kin Recycled Toilet Roll (locally sourced)

Kit + Kin Recycled Toilet Roll is one of the number of growing brands of toilet rolls, made from recycled paper and sold in plastic-free packaging. Soft and strong, this one uses paper sourced in the UK (saves trees!) and is 50% longer than standard rolls sold in shops.
And this brand is co-founded by Emma Bunton (aka Baby Spice!)
Delivery is free, and you save 20% on regular deliveries – forever! You can skip orders any time (say if you are going on holiday). By using up waste paper, this helps to save trees and the company also uses profits to help the rainforests abroad!
Each roll has 250 sheets and there are nine rolls in a pack, so you get more for your money. The 2-ply rolls are chlorine-free (better for our planet) and safe for sensitive skin. You can order a one pack of 9 rolls to start you off!
If buying any of the cleaning products on this site, choose unscented (no essential oils) near pets (citrus oils are toxic, even when rinse and dried, in case licked from paws).
Why switch to eco-friendly bathroom tissue?

Each year, around 1 million trees are chopped down daily (mostly in Boreal forests that are home to moose, elk, wolves and grizzly bears), just to make toilet paper that is then wrapped in plastic. Just imagine the effect if everyone switched to recycled paper, sugar cane or bamboo rolls instead?
2-ply is the best choice to avoid clogs with sensitive plumbing systems, but still gives better comfort than 1-ply. It’s best to subscribe online (most brands are measured cost-per-roll instead of sheet). So although our recommended brands seem more expensive, they aren’t).
Why eco bathroom tissue costs less
It’s all a bit mathematical. But basically most toilet paper sold in stores is sold per sheet. Whereas eco brands that you subscribe to online are sold by roll. So even though they seem more expensive, they are actually more affordable. Because you are getting more sheets per roll, if that makes sense!
Plus if you subscribe online, you can benefit from big savings, and don’t have to buy petrol to drive to the store, as you won’t suddenly run out of loo roll!
